The factors that cause Windows XP to be slow

Although there is now the successor to Windows XP, the Windows Vista and Windows 7, but still many loyal users of Windows XP are reluctant to move and leave the operating system on this one.
For those who remain faithful to use Windows XP would have been well aware that the more frequently used then the performance of Windows XP on our computers will increasingly slow down over time and this will be very annoying.
There are many reasons why Windows XP is becoming increasingly slow and to overcome such problems is actually not too difficult.
Here are some possible causes of Windows XP on our computers getting slower:
File fragmentation
The more often we use the computer, the more often the files are moved and become fragmented. That's why Windows XP enter the service "defragmentation" that will scan your computer and sorting our files so that it can be more easily found and accessed. Defragmentation also allows Windows and other software run faster.
For our computer mendefragmentasi:Start - open the folder "Accessories" - click "System Tools" - and select "Disk Defragment."
Next select the drive disk you want didefragmentasi and click "Defragment."
Virus
Computer viruses and also all sorts of malware, can affect the performance of our computers and spend a resourse (resources) computer by doing a job that is not productive. To overcome this problem and then use an antivirus program scans your computer to see if there is malware, spyware or anything else that may cause our computer to be slow.
Too many programs Start-Up
If we have many programs and services are active when the computer is booting then this could significantly affect the speed of our computer. To select and remove the programs that run at start-up we can:
Start - click "Run .." - Type "msconfig" in the "Run .." and then press Enter which will bring up a screen to "System Configuration".
Once the screen appears "System Configuration", click the tab "Startup" and select the programs that can run on when booting Windows.
Most of the data
The more data stored on the hard disk, then Windows will need more time to access and open data. Delete some programs or files that are not used and no longer needed to be more hard disk space vacant that will be able to make Windows to be faster when opening programs or files.
Hardware that needs to be upgraded
Effect on the speed of the hardware and make the operating system running smoothly. If your computer is lack of RAM, Windows will run slower. If the motherboard or video card (VGA) has a driver that does not uptodate then the update will help our computers become faster.
